The Story
Nataraja is the most information-dense image in Indian art: the drum that creates, the flame that dissolves, the foot of liberation, the dwarf of ignorance crushed underfoot, all balanced inside a ring of fire. The point is subtle and enormous — the universe is not a machine or chaos, but a dance with a rhythm you can learn. We froze one frame of it in line-work, because you cannot print the whole dance, and the tradition never tried.
